Deze zaterdag 28 juni zijn jullie weer welkom in Y2 als deelnemer of publiek bij Silophone Session #11, the 1st anniversary edition. Deze multidisciplinaire improvisatie jamsessie is gratis toegankelijk voor deelnemers en publiek maar een donatie voor de openingsact is altijd welkom. 

Het Y2-pand in het centrum is een maand geleden ontruimd, daarom worden jullie aan de Damsterdiep 299 verwacht.
De deuren gaan open om 15u. De openingsact, voor Y2 vooralsnog een verrassing, begint om 15u30. En om ongeveer 16u begint de eigenlijke, jamsessie. Deze duurt tot ongeveer 18u30.
Zodra mogelijk, wordt de openingsact bekend gemaakt op Facebook en www.y2.nu.

Over de Silophonesessions:

“The Silophone Sessions are multidisciplinary improvisation jam sessions for musicians, dancers and spoken word artists, organized by violinist Renske van Donk and improv cellist Charles Belfor. Our goal: to bring together performers of many different styles, perspectives and influences at an artistic playground and to encourage them to interact with each other so that something entirely unique emerges on stage.”

Deze Silophonesession wordt gehouden temidden van de expositie tien jaar y2.
Dit is een tentoonstelling met schilderijen, tekeningen, filmpjes en foto’s van kunstenaars die in de loop der jaren een werkplek in Y2 hebben gehad. 
Deze tentoonstelling is, in elk geval tot zaterdag 5 juli, te bezoeken op vrijdagen van 16-18u.

Op zaterdag 5 juli, vanaf 19u30 is er een optreden met muziek door Groundless Society (jazz-gitarist Luca Polizzi en drummer Jacopo Pisapia) versterkt met dans door Aglaya Jacobs en Lija Mozetic, beroepsdansers uit respectievelijk Moskou en Ljubljana. Tezamen zullen zij het projekt reflections brengen.

Sat 28/6 from 15h30 Silophonesession #11, free jam session for participants and audience in the middle of the exhibition “ten years y2”

This Saturday, June 28, you are welcome again in Y2 as a participant or audience at Silophone Session #11, the 1st anniversary edition. This multidisciplinary improvisation jam session is free of charge for participants and the public, but a donation for the opening act is always welcome.

The Y2 building in the centre was evacuated a month ago, which is why you are expected at Damsterdiep 299.

The doors open at 3pm. The opening act, a surprise for Y2 for the time being, starts at 3:30 pm. And at about 4pm the actual jam session starts. This lasts until about 18:30.

As soon as possible, the opening act will be announced on Facebook and www.y2.nu.

This Silophonesession is held in the middle of the exhibition ten years y2.
This is an exhibition with paintings, drawings, videos and photos by artists who have had a workplace in Y2 over the years.
This exhibition can be visited, at least until Saturday 5 July, on Fridays from 16-18h.

On Saturday, July 5, starting at 7:30 pm, there will be a performance with music by Groundless Society (jazz guitarist Luca Polizzi and drummer Jacopo Pisapia) reinforced with dance by Aglaya Jacobs and Lija Mozetic, professional dancers from Moscow and Ljubljana respectively. Together they will bring the project reflections.
